IAQA is a non-profit 501(c)(6)
organization headquartered in Rockville, MD. For more information or to join as
a member, visit www.iaqa.org or contact IAQA at (301) 231-8388.
Last month, the Indoor Air Quality Association
launched the most robust online education program ever created for the IAQ,
cleaning and restoration industries.
The IAQA has issued a Call for Papers for its 15th Annual Meeting, March 5-7, 2012 in Las Vegas. Once again, IAQA will combine exposition halls with Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) for the largest Indoor Air Expo ever held.
On Feb. 16, Florida State Representative Grant introduced a bill, HB 4171, in the Florida House that would repeal the newly effective mold licensing regulations.
The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), and the Radiant Panel Association (RPA) have announced that the three organizations will hold their annual meetings at the same time in 2011.
Start making plans now to attend IAQA’s 14th Annual Meeting. The meeting and Indoor Air Expo will take place Feb. 15-17, 2011 at the Marriott Rivercenter & San Antonio Convention Center.
The subject of certification for IAQ professionals has come up frequently in recent months in IAQA member forums. In reviewing the commentary of members, it became evident that there were certain misconceptions about IAQA and its role in industry certification.
For the past 11 years, the Indoor Air Quality Association has delivered annual meetings and expositions that set unprecedented levels for technical content, business networking and product exhibits.
One area where IAQA truly excels, but which gets little recognition, is in building bridges to other organizations, trades and professions, and connecting people and organizations who otherwise might not have worked together.
