Mike Kerner is senior Scientist for ProRestore Products. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the cleaning and restoration industry having worked with ServiceMaster Industries, Aramark Management Services and ServiceMaster Clean prior to joining ProRestore. Mike has degrees in chemistry from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois and from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Starting a conversation with a silly question can be interesting. For example, let’s suppose I ask you, “Is drinking water safe?” or “Are plastic buckets and toothbrushes dangerous?”
I have never been comfortable with many of the remediation procedures recommended for mold remediation; they just didn’t feel right, either intuitively or instinctively. But these procedures have to be right; after all, they had been developed by people with impressive initials after their names that were much smarter and much more experienced than I.
