A bill that was actively supported by the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) was signed by Colorado Governor Bill Ritter earlier this month.

Insights 2007 Property Restoration Conference & Trade Show was held Jan. 17-19 in San Antonio. Although the turnout for this event was hampered by the freezing rain and ice storms, foreign to this region, the spirits of the attendees, speakers and exhibitors were not dampened.

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association is a non-profit trade association dedicated to setting standards and guidelines within the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) cleaning industry, and represents certified contractors who perform HVAC system cleaning. Its Assessment, Cleaning & Restoration (ACR) Standard is adopted, adapted, or endorsed by HVAC cleaning companies around the globe.

The IICRC continues to grow as it works toward building name recognition for the inspection, cleaning and restoration industries.
