The inaugural Indoor Environmental Science Forum is fast-approaching in warm, sunny Florida!
Over the course of two days, restoration contractors and IAQ professionals will go through 14 hours of training with notable restoration and environmental industry experts. The two-day event will be held at the Doubletree Hilton in Sunrise, Fla., on Feb. 26 and 27.
On Friday, Dr Joe Spurgeon (author of the newly released "The Collection and Interpretation of Indoor Mold Samples") will discuss various topics from his new book, which will be available for a discount at the event. Questions from the audience are encouraged, and Dr. Spurgeon will have a table at event to address your questions personally.
Friday closes with a free wine & cheese mixer, providing the opportunity to talk and network with various vendors supporting the event, to see old friends, to make new connections and to relax around the hotel pool area.
On Saturday, education and training continue with another seven hour day filled with informative information on various water damage issues, HVAC duct issues and more restoration related topics including limitations, complications & conflicts. The two seasoned trainers involved on Saturday, Eric Shapiro and David Smith, are both industry professionals who have a combined industry history in excess of 50 years experience.
The Saturday session concludes with a round table discussion where a panel of five industry experts answers your burning questions.
The two days of presentations will total 14 hours of Continuing Education credits, acceptable for Florida licensed mold or remediation professionals. Organizations that accept these 14 hours of training include: RIA, IICRC, ACAC and IAQA.
Special hotel rates have been negotiated, and lunch and beverages are included with registration fees.
